For this assignment I decided to visit Butterfly World in Stockton on Tees. I have been there before about two years ago. It is slightly too far to make a visit a regular outing which is a shame as I just love butterflies and watching them gently flutter around in a seemingly haphazard manner, alighting on one flower and then the next.
Bank Holiday Monday was probably not the best time to go and, as expected, it was very busy despite arriving for 10.00am when the doors opened. I was also unable to take a photo for about 30 minutes until my lenses had acclimatized to the humidity.
